The western Baltic cod consists of one or a number of modest subpopulations that are genetically more comparable to the North Sea cod. From the Arkona basin (Situated off Cape Arkona, Rügen), spawning and migrating cod from both equally the jap and western shares intermingle in proportions that vary seasonally.The French, Spanish and Portuguese fi
